I am in the process of becoming a scientist, while pursuing a Ph.D. in Astrophysics in TIFR (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research), Mumbai, India. My scientific publications are listed on ResearchGate. I also write on other matters related to scientific curiosity.

Occasionally I also end up writing a piece or two of poetry, or jamming up a rhythm on the guitar. Even more rarely, I string them together and sing out loud.

Peek into my albums on Flickr, gathered from the frequent treks and travels that I indulge in. These experiences help me stay alive and grounded to reality.

I play cricket and run long-distance with equal passion.

The latest addition to my activities has been website-designing and co-editing TIFR’s annual magazine, Crescendo.

I am an introvert, but just cannot stop talking with some.

Writing on Quora used to be an occasional pastime until I reduced participation.*

I believe diversity is mankind’s most prized possession, and we are not doing enough to preserve and promote it.

*P.S. I am not on Facebook, so don’t try to find me there.
